How to Master Your Mindset for Success and Happiness

Today, I’m breaking down my Top Three Mindset Tips.

“Whether you think can or think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford

Tip # 1 – Understand that whatever you give attention to in your mind is going to grow.

Imagine I gave you two plants.

One plant you put on the window sill, gave it water, light and attention.

What’s going to happen to that plant?

Yes, it’s going to grow.

That’s because you gave it attention and what it needed for growth.

Now, let’s take another plant.

Instead of putting it on the window sill, you just put it on the floor and didn’t give it any sunlight, water or attention.

What’s going to happen to that plant?

Most likely, it’s not going to have what it needs to grow.  It may even die.

What happens in your mind is similar to what happens to the plants.

If you give attention and focus to your problems, then they will strengthen and grow.

But on the other hand, if you come up with solutions to your problems and focus on the solutions instead, then the problems will begin to weaken or die and the solution will strengthen and flourish.

So give some thought right now to what your ‘biggest problem is.’

Next, come up with a ‘solution’ and hold yourself accountable to giving more attention to it than to the problem at hand.

Tip # 2 – Understand that all of your challenges are an opportunity to learn and grow from.

Often we find ourselves asking, ‘Why is this problem happening to me?’

That perspective puts us in a place of disempowerment.

Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” ask instead, “Why is this happening FOR me?”

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer

Take a look at your current challenges and ask yourself, “How can I learn and grow from what I’m experiencing?”

Is there anything that you can see in your difficult situation that could benefit or teach you something?

How about possibly teach or help another?

Tip # 3 – Be mindful to generate the feelings you most want in your life before they arrive.

‘Be the change you want to see in the world.’ -Gandhi

Gandhi knew he had to exude peace in order to create a peaceful movement.

You must also be mindful of generating the feelings of what you want in your own life before your manifestations arrive.

What is it that you want to feel more than anything else?

How often on a daily basis are you feeling those feelings?

What can you do to increase the feelings of what it is you most want?

Your feelings will work like a magnet.

The more you increase your ‘feel good’ feelings or whatever it is that you want to attract, the more the universe will then bring more of the same into your life.

Every moment you are giving your attention to something.

Choose to focus on your thoughts, feelings, and emotions on what you most want to grow in your life.

With love and belief in you,

Kristen xx
