15 Nov Raspberry Green Smoothie
My kiddos don’t always want to drink a green smoothie, but they won’t hesitate to drink one that is bright like this one. The raspberries add a delicious flavor and get the greens into their diets. As with all smoothies, be sure to rotate your greens and types of milk you use. For example, swap out the kale for spinach and coconut milk instead of almond.
RASPBERRY GREEN SMOOTHIE
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
YIELD: 2 servings
1-2 cups non-dairy milk
2 handfuls kale leaves
1 tbsp. raw hemp seed
1 cup frozen raspberries
Handful ice (optional)
1. In this order, place your milk, kale, hemp seed, banana, and frozen raspberries into a blender. If adding ice, add it on top.
2. Bland and enjoy!
*If you want a richer color, add 1 handful of kale instead of two
